As a principal of Insurance Strategies, Mary specializes in helping senior executives reposition their business and maximize their company’s value proposition through effective business process management.  Current assignments include working with financial institutions in E-Business, service, technology, financial, product and distribution management strategies and processes to help clients grow and improve their businesses.

Ms. Dexter is a professional with 25 years experience in Distribution Services, a strong background and experience in technology and systems, operational streamlining, key insurance business processes, customer service, and distribution management.  Her primary focus is helping senior executives and their project teams effectively identify and deploy technology and business process management methodologies into their organizations to improve operational performance, increase productivity in their core businesses, improve customer service, and reduce expenses. 

She has also worked with companies to help them more effectively manage large, corporate wide projects through the development and utilization of project management tools and techniques, effective resource allocation and management, and leveraging the web, systems and technology to minimize costs. 

Prior to joining Insurance Strategies, Ms. Dexter was Vice President of Distribution Services at New England Financial, where she managed the development and implementation of Field technology, served as the Distribution company’s liaison to the I/T organization, and developed and managed Service Level Agreements between the Distribution company and I/T, New Business, Client Services and Corporate Communications.  She also managed several company-wide projects, on behalf of the Distribution company.  

Ms. Dexter received her B.A. in Liberal Arts and her M.B.A. from Northeastern University.  She is a CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter), ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant), LLIF (LIMRA Leadership Institute Fellow), and NASD representative, which are financial services industry designations that demonstrate competence in financial and estate planning and in distribution management.
